Indians need a visa to work or travel in Singapore. This section describes the various non-immigrant visas and the procedure to obtain them.

There are two basic types of visas you need
in order to go to Singapore. The Social Visit
Visa, and the Business Visit Visa.

REQUIREMENTS
A useful site for information on requirements
for Indian Nationals is the
SIR Visitor Services Center.
For business visits, these are the main requirements:
- 1 copy (original) of duly completed application form.
- 2 recent passport sized photograph affixed onto Form.
- 1 copy (original) of sponsorship letter from a Singapore registered company, stating details of proposed visit and undertaking the maintenance and repatriation of the applicant.
- 1 copy of computer print-out of the sponsoring company's business profile which is obtainable from the Registry of Companies and Businesses (applicable only to multiple journey visa application).
- 1 copy of all pages of the applicant's passport. Any passport with additional page inserts will not be accepted.
Note: Where applicable, a security deposit of S$3000 for each applicant may be required from the local sponsor. The security deposit should be in the form of a Banker's Guarantee or Cashier's Order. The security deposit will be refunded after it has been confirmed that the applicant has left Singapore and there is no breach of any of the conditions stated in the security bond.

APPROVAL PROCESS
3 working days provided the application is
submitted over the counter and no further verifications
are required.
FEES
S$20 per issue of a visa.
